Being Married...

Being
married... Is like rediscovering yourself, not really.
We have now been married for almost three weeks. Unlike the warnings of many friends and family, we are not finding out much about each other that we didn't already know. I am not saying that things will come up but knowing my wife for about 5 years I learned a lot.
I do know now she doesn't like too many blankets. Besides the blankets we are a perfect match for each other.
We have been doing nothing but just chilling, we even went to the movies just recently. I almost forgot what the inside of a theater looked like since we started planning for the wedding. We sometimes fight over the remote, some times we just watch the same thing. Right now she's purchasing music online and hogging my desk, while I lay on the floor in the living room.
One thing I have to say, she's a good cook. She made me dinner a couple of times, we have cooked together every other day. Our first dinner was spaghetti. It was delicious. We had it with French bread and wine. She made me shrimp scampi another time and today we cooked some juicy hamburgers.
In a nutshell:
• Hot flashes
• enjoying our time without worries (wedding planning)
• Even watched a movie
• She hogs my computer to keep maintaining our website
• She cooks to lick your fingers clean best plate so far, Scampi.
verdict:
Being married is the best thing in the world, and if I had to do it again I would not change a thing. Easy for me to say? Easy if your wife's name is C.lo.

Just moved to our new apartment

We got our keys last wednesday and our stuff was moved
in today. I had to work all day but my lovely fiance
and my family moved everything in, couches, bed and
miscellaneous stuff that we had purchased over the last
few months. It looks really cool and I am actually
getting even more excited. From what I understand my
sister, dad, Meno, Raul and Cindy were moving stuff in
my dad's truck and Raul's truck. Cindy got all the
bathrooms and bed all set up. I walked in and she had
pizza for me after work. Click on the picture below for

Approved for our Loft!

Today is exciting! Well…yesterday was too because
it was my birthday and I spent a great day with Omar.
(A blog [posting] about yesterday
still to come)
Anyway, I received a call from Judy – the manager from the place in Federal Way we were looking at. We were just approved for our loft and she said that we will be able to move in mid April…which will only be a few weeks before our wedding!
So many things are going on….time is flying by! I have 2 boxes right by my side right now…and already know what things to pack in them! Lol! Next things….keep cleaning my room – throwing things out….donating things….packing – so much!
This place – Westhampton, was our top choice, unfortunately someone had beaten us to it with an application only hours before Omar dropped ours off…..but Judy called me yesterday saying that that person had backed out at the last minute (tried not to get too excited as she was just letting us know that she was putting our application through. It wasn't until a few hours ago...we got the definite 'Yes.' So I guess it was a Happy Birthday to me!! So once we review some final things, we will hopefully have a move-in date of April 15th!

Big Things Taken care of Today

Omar and I met up after I got off of work, went for
dinner and got to work! We visited two jewelry
locations and decided on our rings - finally! We made
our picks in Bellevue. It was really fun, relaxing yet
a very exciting evening. Then we went to check out suit
ideas for Omar - and I like clothes and shopping so
that was lots of fun too. We are half way through
February and only two full months left!
